Last updated 19 July 2026. These website terms explain the difference between an enquiry, an estimate request, a written quote and a confirmed booking.
Website enquiries
Sending a contact, commercial or reviewed-estimate request does not create a booking or require you to proceed. Please provide information that is accurate to the best of your knowledge so we can review the property and respond appropriately.
Estimate requests
The website collects information for a human-reviewed estimate request. It does not provide an instant or fixed price. Any early indication is based on the details available at the time and may change after questions, measurements or a site review.
Written quotes
If we offer to carry out work, the written quote will set out the scope, price, whether GST is included, payment terms, validity period and any job-specific conditions. A quote becomes binding when it is accepted in the way stated in that quote. Changes to the agreed scope or site conditions may require a variation that we discuss with you before additional work proceeds.
Bookings and timing
A requested or provisionally discussed time is not confirmed until NZ Seal Coating confirms it. Timing may depend on weather, surface condition, access and preparation requirements. If timing needs to change, we will contact you about the next available step.
Property information and access
You are responsible for telling us about known access restrictions, underground or hidden services, hazards, third-party approvals, shared access arrangements and other conditions that could affect the work. The property must be reasonably accessible and ready as agreed for each visit.
Surfaces and suitability
Seal coating suitability and preparation depend on the existing surface and condition. We may decline, defer or revise proposed work if later information or an inspection shows that the surface is unsuitable or requires a different approach.
Curing and aftercare
After application there is a curing period when the treated surface must not be used. We provide job-specific access and care instructions. You are responsible for following those instructions and making sure other property users know about them.
Payment and cancellations
Payment, deposit and cancellation terms will be stated in the applicable written quote or other agreement. We do not publish a general deposit or cancellation charge on this website.
Your consumer rights
Nothing on this website is intended to exclude or limit rights that cannot lawfully be excluded, including applicable rights under New Zealand consumer law.
